Nickelodeon Songs That Still Are A Bop To This Day. (No Theme Songs)

Picture it. 2000-2012. You're sitting at your TV flipping through channels when one of your favorite Nickelodeon shows comes on. And in a new episode, a song is introduced to your brain and lives in it in the back of your mind as an earworm forever. Not a theme song, but a song that one of the characters, if not all, sings. And. It. Slaps.

These are the top 5 Nickelodeon songs that still slap hard today. The only caveat though is one song per show because if that rule wasn't in there Spongebob or Fairly Oddparents would most definitely take the whole list.

5: Take A Hint (Victorious)

In the season 3 episode of Tori and Jade's Playdate, Tori and Jade try to get away from some slimy flirting guys who like the song says, just don't take a hint. This song just like Give It Up is a banger. The lyric and music team really did a great job, and Liz Gillies and Victoria Justice really made a great duet match. Listen to it if you haven't in a while.

4: Musical Doodle (Spongebob)

In the episode aptly named Earworm, Spongebob listens to a song called Musical Doodle that gets so stuck in his head it affects his life, leisurely and working. This song is actually infectious. This season 7 episode is one of my favorites because of the song. It's literally been in my head since it premiered 13 years ago (!!!?!) and just like The Best Day Ever, I don't get sick of it honestly. Much unlike Spongebob and later Mr.Krabs.

3: Remember (Danny Phantom)

This song I think is every child in the early 2000s favorite if they watched this show. The season 1 episode Fanning the Flames introduces us to a rockstar ghost who does a literal hypnotizing concert to dominate the world. The song she sings, according to the Danny Phantom Wikipedia, is probably about events of her being an unpopular girl in school before her death which was caused by a fire. This episode came out *Checks Notes* *Gulps* 20 years ago. Excuse me while I go look at myself in the mirror and cry.

In all seriousness though, this song is amazing. The vocals, lyrics, and beat, UGH! It's such an earworm. Go check it out below if you haven't seen it in a while.

Remember Ember

2: Gimme The Wand (Fairly OddParents)

Who else was introduced to the late Norm McDonald through Fairly Oddparents? Just me? Okay. Who else didn't know he could sing? Just me? Okay.

In all honesty, this plot is a little bit of a mess just to make an American Idol parody special, but the song in this is just too amazing to not be on this list. In this season 5 episode, Norm the Genie returns and tricks Cosmo and Wanda into quitting being Timmy's fairies so that he can get his revenge on Timmy for rejecting him as his fairy. Cosmo and Wanda have to sing in order to win over the judges to become fairies again. Cosmo and Norm duet with the song "Gimme The Wand". This song is so catchy. It's been in my head for the last twenty years *bleh* and I loved it anytime the special was played. Norm's voice is more speak-like but carries the tune so well you can't not love it. Diana DeGarmo's voice is amazing and is hilarious out of the mouth of Cosmo. Definitely deserved its #2 spot.

1: I have The Ring (Jimmy Neutron)

Another messy plot episode in terms of summary, but the song at the end is such a bop I remember it being played in the new episode trailer! When spy Jet Fusion gets married to his archnemeses daughter Beautiful Gorgeous, Jimmy and his friends, Carl and Sheen smell something afoot. When they're proven right and Beautiful Gorgeous hypnotizes Jimmy to wreck the wedding and Jet's life, Carl and Sheen race to stop him from saying "I have the ring" which is what activates a hypnotized Jet to go on a rampage. Libby, another friend of Jimmy and Sheen's girlfriend, turns it into a impromptu song which isn't explained why, but do you really need a reason? It is the most chaotic, catchy, and amazing song ever. There is nothing else I can say to express my fondness of this song except we needed more Colonel McSwain and The Atomic Monkey Special Forces Squad.

Don't get that reference? Go and watch this amazing season 3 episode. I Have The Ring audio only
